This painting brings together some of the wildflowers I come across on summer walks with Rudy, growing along the paths and verges around Insch in Aberdeenshire. I wanted to capture the mix of plants that appear together through the summer, including knapweed, clover, vetch, camomile and bird’s-foot trefoil.
