Rosehip Evolution

I came across these wonderfully large, rounded rose hips and was immediately drawn to their almost tomato-like shape, glossy skin and changing colour.

This study follows the fruit as it transforms from fresh green to warm orange and finally deep, rich red, capturing subtle changes in colour and form, as well as the drying remains of the flower, as the hip matures.
